Rubiocop: The Future of Conservative Enforcement

Mitt Romney has finally pushed ahead of his fellow GOP candidates to essentially claim the nomination for the Republican Party. His unofficial victory was welcomed into such open arms as Florida Senator (and potential running mate) Marco Rubio who said: “There are a lot of other people out there that some of us wish had run for president, but they didn’t,” he continued “I think Mitt Romney would be a fine president, and he’d be way better than the guy who’s there right now.” Rubio sounds like the type of person that would recommend a restaurant to you simply because he never got food poisoning there.

Godzilla vs the Conservative Right

Last month a list of proposed banned words by the New York City Department of Education made their way into the national media.  The words on the list are ones the Department wishes to keep off of standardized tests within the school district, as to not offend the children.  Some of the words on the list:  birthday, crime, death, evolution, Halloween, religion and my favorite… dinosaur.

The One About the Pipeline

This has been a rough week for conservatives.  Still recovering from the possible fallout with female voters from Rush Limbaugh, supporters were also disappointed to learn that Andrew Breitbart’s much talked about bombshell video that would change the election in the GOP’s favor turned out to be footage that aired in 2008 on PBS.  Yesterday, they watched as the Senate voted down the Keystone pipeline.

The Taxes Chainsaw Massacre

Conservative voters have already begun to chatter about Obama’s potential re-election and the onslaught of taxes that would hit the middle class if it were to happen.

As I type this, the conservative news site, The Blaze is running a story titled “Tax Bombshell: If Re-elected, Would President Obama Raise Taxes For Middle Class?”
